The Constitution

THE CONSTITUTION is a moving and ultimately hopeful new film about the complexities and contradictions of identity and expression in a world that more often than not offers little in the way of tolerance and compassion. Directed by Rajko Grlić, THE CONSTITUTION navigates complex and sensitive subject matter with clarity and genuine contemplation. After being attacked on the street by a group of homophobic young men and women, a gay professor is cared for by a neighbor and her husband. It won the Grand Prize of the Americas for Best Film in the World Competition section at the Montreal World Film Festival as well as the European Film Critic Award at the Pula Film Festival.
